Blenheim District Library is hosting well known local Eric Percy, now an author of three published books. Shifting with his family to Blenheim in 1974 he worked for a local furnishing firm, and later operated his own retail outlets. As well as his business, Eric worked for Radio NZ for 10 years as a sports broadcaster, covering mainly rugby and racing commentaries and was sports coordinator for Radio Marlborough.
