Get yourself into hot water this Sunday! Come on out to the Wairau, downstream from the bridge between Spring Creek and Tua Marina, approx 500 metres past the Gills and Firth gravel plants. Bring a thermette if you have one (not mandatory), food to share, a chair, gumboots or robust shoes. Children and dogs welcome. There will be plenty of hot water. Havelock Theatre – An Affair of the Art

Havelock Theatre have entered "an Affair of the Art" into the Top of the South One-Act Theatre festival which will be held in Wakefield. There will be a free performance of this 30 minute in the Havelock Town Hall on Thursday 3rd August at 7:30pm. This will be the only performance outside of the festival. The play has been written by local playwright and artist, Rick Edmonds and has been entered in Olga Harding NZ Playwright's award competition. Doors open…
