Experience Lower Wairau heritage tour

Join the Marlborough Historical Society and historian John Orchard in exploring the events that shaped the foundation of the Marlborough Province, including the oldest known site of occupation in NZ, the First Land War, and early industries. HIghlights include Redwood’s Flour Mill, Chaytors Flax Mill, Rarangi Beach, Wairau Affray, Wairau Bar Historic Precinct, and the Port of Beaver and The Quay Parks.
Meet at the Brayshaw Heritage Park car park at 8:45. BYO food and drink and suitable clothing. Cost $35 for MHS members, $40 non-members, $20 child/youth. Bookings essential 03 5781712 by 15th March.
